TANCET 2014

Applications are invited for Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2014 to be conducted by Anna University, Chennai on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu from candidates who seek admission to MBA/ MCA/ M.E./ M.Tech/M.Arch. / M.PIan. Degree Programmes for the year 2014 – 2015 offered at University Departments, University Colleges of Engineering, Regional Centres of Anna University, Government and Government Aided Engineering Colleges and Arts & Science Colleges and Self-financing Colleges (Engmeenng, Arts & Science Colleges including stand-alone Institutions) in Tamilnadu.

TANCET 2014 Eligibility Criteria

MBA/ MCA: Aspirants must be graduates from a recognized University and candidates who are in final year waiting for their results can also apply.
M.E/ M.Tech: Candidates must be graduate/ post graduate from a recognized University.
M.Arch/ M.Plan: Aspirants must graduate or post graduate from a recognized University or equivalent in architecture/ planning.

TANCET 2014 Application Form:

The applications can be availed through online by logging into TANCET website or it can also be requested through post by sending demand draft in favor of The Secretary, TANCET payable at Chennai.

Application Form Fees
Application form is common for all the three entrance tests. Candidates have to submit only one application. The candidates have to pay Rs 500/- ( Rs 250/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu on production of a copy of Permanent Community Certificate in card format) as entrance test fee for any one of the programmes either 1. M.B.A., or 2. M.C.A. or 3. M.E. / M.Tech / M.Arch. / M.Plan.

If a candidate desires to appear for more than one Programme, for every additional programme, he/she has to pay Rs 500/- ( Rs 250/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu).
