Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Ministry of Railways has issued notification for recruitment of the 26,567 Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician Category posts. Eligible candidates can send their applications on or before 17-02-2014.

No of the Post: 26,567

Age Limit:  18 Years to 30 Years as on 01/07/2014. (Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules).

Qualification: Candidates should possess Matriculation plus course completed Act Apprenticeship/ ITI approved by NCVT/ SCVT in the trades of Fitter/ Electrician/ Instrument Mechanic/ Millwright Maintenance Mechanic/ Mechanic Radio & TV/ Electronics Mechanic/ Mechanic Motor Vehicle etc for ALP Post and Matriculation plus course completed Act Apprenticeship/ ITI approved by NCVT/ SCVT in the trades of Electrician/ Electrical Fitter/ Wireman/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ TV & Radio/ Instrumentation/Computer/ Computer Networking etc for Technician posts.

Exam Fee:  Candidates have to pay the examination fee of Rs.40/- for ALP all other Technician categories in form of a crossed Demand Draft or in the form of crossed Indian Postal order to be drawn in favor of Assistant Secretary or Secretary or Member Secretary or Chairman of Railway Recruitment Board concerned as mentioned in notification. No examination fee for SC/ST/ Ex servicemen, persons with disabilities/ Women/ minority/ economically backward candidates.

Pay Scale:  For ALP and all other Technician Gr.III Categories Rs.5,200-20,200 (GP Rs.1,900).

How to Apply: Willing Candidates should reach with Necessary documents mentioned in detailed notification by Ordinary post to the Railway Recruitment Boards concerned as mentioned in notification so as to reach on or before 17-02-2014 up to 17:30 hrs.
